From a very young age, I’ve had a strong passion for beauty and nails. My aunt and I are extremely close, and I’ve always looked up to her as a role model. She owns her own beauty salon, and from when I was young, she always took me along to her salons, so, I’ve been around the beauty industry for as long as I can remember, and I’ve developed a keen interest in it.
I have been diagnosed with autism and a stomach condition since i was 12 years old however,
I do not allow this diagnosis to stand in the way of my success, in fact it makes me exceptional at my job and I have a fine eye for detail, you could say I am a perfectionist.
In 2018, I attended college to earn my VTCT in Hair and Beauty. Alongside my studies, I took private courses with The Beauty Academy to further equip myself with the skills needed for success in the beauty industry, in a way that works best for me.
The challenges I face with autism, along with society’s expectations of people like me, have only made me more determined to build a successful business.
My message is simple: you can overcome any obstacle, and you can make your dreams come true. You just have to believe in yourself.
I look forward to meeting you!
